I am reaching out as we have just purchased a Carestream 5950 Mammography printer for our breast surgery clinic. We have one surgeon and 2 midlevels. The providers use images in the clinic to palpate masses in the breast only (they do not do primary interpretation with these images).
We have a stand alone mammmo printer and are looking for a free downloadable DICOM viewing software to install on a standard computer. The sole purpose of the computer and software is to pull up, select and print mammo images to the carestream 5950 mammography printer.
We would like the following characteristics if they exist in a free software:
- Simple user interface
- capability for install on multiple computers
- capability to print Mammo quality images according to applicable standards
- 24 hour support
- Communicate with Carestream 5950 printer and print DICOM mammography images
- We do receive some discs in PICOM format and would like to be able to print these if at all possible
- able to print on blue mammo film 10x12 size
I am wondering if ConQuest will meet our needs?
