Thanks for your reply. I followed your advice. I checked the predefined file syntax options and found my mistake. Option 3 (default)
filename = ID[16]\Seriesuid_Series#_Image#_TimeCounter.v2
just saves 16 values for the ID. Now I use option 5 which fits best for my setting. First I thought I have to change other settings to set the ID[32] in the file syntax.

I got a question. I transfer DICOM Images from my k-pacs system (running on Windows) to my Conquest system (running on debian). The transfer works without problems. My problem is, that the top folder of the received files in my incoming folder of conquest has just 16 characters. The patient ID has more than 16 characters.
I changed the values for the characters of the patient id up to 64 characters in the dicom.sql file, dropped the tables and run dgate -v -r to rebuild them. I looked into the tables and there is the full patient id.
My two questions are:
1) Where can I make the changes to get folder names with more than 16 characters?
2) Can I use for example the patient name instead of the patient id?
