Be patient with me. I'm trying to work my way up to DICOM novice level. The installation we have to get going is pretty simple US x1 - local PACS for burning and storage - remote PACS for teleradiology. It can't be all that hard.
I downloaded and installed K-Pacs. I fished round on the Net for some sample images and grabbed them. Then I followed my nose through the import dialog and lo and behold - images associated with Joe Bloggs and Tom Smith appeared in the database.
Then I set up K-Pacs on another machine on my LAN, figured my way through the AE Title and IP address stuff and managed to move Mr Bloogs and Mr Smith from K-Pacs 1 to K-Pacs 2.
Then I deleted the local database on KP 1 and tried to do it again. The import dialog does what it's supposed to and the DCM button says "yes I registered it" and all that. When I go back to the main list (modality set to ALL) there's nothing - zip - nada.
What am I missing?
