Hi,
indeed you have to add the servers manually in 'known dicom providers'
i.e.,
SERVER1 127.0.0.1 5678 un
SERVER2 127.0.0.1 5679 un
marcel
Hi,
The server is a DICOM printer, so you can print to it from elsewhere. Off heart I believe there is no option (yet) to print from the browser to other DICOM printers.
Marcel
Hi,
conquest stores the binary object and does not convert it at all. You can view a header dump of the SR, and copy what you need.
Marcel
Hi,
on windows I assume. Right click on the image in the browser and you will find print in the menu.
Marcel
Hi,
yes if you install one conquest and keep it running, a new install will install one on another port (or you can manually select another port). SR will be saved and retrieved just like any other dicom object.

Hi,
keepalive only works when the GUI is open. Dgate.exe is really the server, and dgateserv just a dgate starter. Keepalive tests dgate.exe.
To locate the problem I really need: version information, and a drwatson report of the crash (assembly instructions of dgate.exe) and the situation around it. Please run drwtsn32.exe to re-enable crash logging and make sure the l get the file in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Userxxxx\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson
as described in: http://forum.image-systems.biz/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2090

Hi,
you hit a bug: this information is not passed for non-clients. I will try to fix it. In the mean time try compressionconverter0 as indicated in another post.
Marcel
Hi,
Thanks for this report. A memory leak bug has alreday been reported related to jpeg and jpeg2000 compression. Will be fixed shortly.
Marcel
Hi Bruce,
well it is an alpha release ;->>> I will put the fixes in in a week or so.
Marcel
Hi Chris,
I always compile from the command line, never from inside visual studio, so that makes it a lot harder. Also, there are dependencies on lots of database drivers and such. I tend to copy their header files (postgress, mysql) into the project directory. Here we go:
get the latest released linux sources (1.4.16alpha).
unpack into a folder
cd jasper-1.900.1.6-ct
{make sure amake.bat knows where to find one or both (32/64 bits) compilers}
{make sure amake.bat delivers the obj file to ..}
amake
cd ..
cd jpeg-6c
{make sure amake.bat knows where to find one or both (32/64 bits) compilers}
copy jconfig.vc jconfig.h
amake
cd ..
{adapt following lines to correct location of the compiler}
set include=c:\lang\ms8amd64\include;jpeg-6c;jasper-1.900.1-6ct\src\libjasper\include
set lib=c:\lang\ms8amd64\lib
cl -c -MT -O2 /Zi -DWIN32 -DWINDOWS -DNATIVE_ENDIAN=1 -DUSESQLITE -DUSEMYSQL -DHAVE_LIBJPEG -DHAVE_LIBJASPER -DJAS_WIN_MSVC_BUILD total.cpp sqlite3.c
link /OUT:dgate.exe /MAP:dgate.map /DEBUG total.obj sqlite3.obj odbc32.lib odbccp32.lib wsock32.lib advapi32.lib user32.lib kernel32.lib bufferoverflowu.lib libjpeg.lib jasperlib.obj
Good luck!
Marcel
No,
the process is the same it is just another selection method.
Marcel
Hi,
in 1.4.16alpha2, RetrieveResultConverter0 should work.
Marcel
Hi,
I released a workaround.
Marcel
I hereby release an update that enables the browser and (optionally) the KPACS viewer to display JPEG2000 images. Also provides a better interface in the browser for multiframe images.
To enable JPEG2000 in the KPACS viewer add this line to dicom.ini that forces decompression to be done by the server, not the viewer:
UseKpacsDecompression = 0
Since the changes only affect the GUI, I will not release the updates for Linux - the web viewer already worked for JPEG2000 and multiframe.
The update is here:
ftp://ftp-rt.nki.nl/outbox/mar…rver1416alpha2_update.zip
Please combine these with the files from 1.4.16alpha listed above and report any bugs found.
Marcel
Hi,
the compression settings UJ and NJ (uncompressed or JPEG or NKI compressed or JPEG) might help here. They allow storing these kind of massive images without decompressing them. I am now working to support JPEG2000 and multiframe in the browser.
Marcel
Same anwer as the previous post:
conquest stores and retrieves the data, but the viewers are unsupportive, except for the serversideviewer in the web system.
Marcel
Hi,
conquest stores and retreives multi-frame objects. However, only the serverside web viewer is capable of displaying them completely.
Marcel
Hi,
you are right, but this feature is documented on the release page.....
Marcel
Hi,
the beta with jpeg2000 and full jpeg support developed by Bruce has been released last tuesday. Please give it a try!
