Ultrasound CINE not being received by Conquest PACS. Still image are OK. Not sure how to fix this.

Ultrasound CINE not being received by Conquest. Still images OK. On the scanner the spooler says the CINE's fail to send. Am I missing a configuration to accept CINE's? Thank you, Terry

Hi,

conquest assumes it can uncompress whatever it recieves. As it has no mpeg decoder, it will not receive US movies. There is no easy fix for this.

OK, thank you for the clarification. I will have to see if there are options on the US scanners to send the CICE as sequential jpg's. How will Conquest handle that? Thank you!

Hi,

I think those will be recieved OK. But you have to try and keep them compressed, which is not easy because compression on conquest is static. But there is compression UJ that could work.
