Database for V1.5 install

Hello all,

New to ConQuest. Trying to install V.1.5.0 (No previous installations of ConQuest on my Win10 laptop with HyperV disabled.).

On p7 of the manual, it said I can use an external existing database such as Postgres/MySQL instead of of the build in SqLite.

I would like to know if I want to use external db Postgres, beside selecting the appropriate choices for my choice of DB option, do I need to do something else (on the database side or extra steps in ConQuest installation)?

Hi,

if you already have a postgres, you just need to know the postgres 'root' password during install to allow conquest to make the 'conquest' database.

Hi

I faced quite a strange issue in the new release .

I made some changes in the dicom.ini like incoming folders etc. But under the Maintenance Tab when i hit to Rebuild the Mag Drive. All the configuration like Watch Folder is over written.

Sorry, you should only change dicom.ini manually when the server is closed.
