I am learning the DICOM platform and technology on my own.
I need a decent reference point to learn terms and the language... but most importantly, I need to find resources for doing what I think will help my understanding.
I am guessing a I need a 'server' software where I can 'push' images, see that they got there and stay stored there, then the ability to 'find them (I guess this is query) and retrieve them back a viewer of some sort.
I see all kinds of names like AE calling or AE Called and things like that. Being that I am a visual learner, is there a diagram mockup that shows me what is called what?
I have FTP experience, IP and port addressing as well.
Any help or pointers is appreciated. If this question is inappropriate for this forum, I will gladly take it to a better place, if there are suggestions.
