Use the "Filesystem" tab for the import of images that are already DICOM. Or use the "Import" feature to import other image files and convert them to DICOM.

Thank You for the respond.
I have a BMP file to be converted to DCM File.
I have imported the BMP file to be converted to DCM file. It confirms that its been done, but where is the file?
Thank you -
If everything was done correctly and the application works properly, the resulting DICOM study is stored in K-PACS's local imagebox. You can find it in the study list under the "Database" tab.

Your local imagebox/database may not be set up correctly. Check the folder you have defined to store the data. Is there some sub-folder in there? New studies are stored there hierarchically using the study instance UIDs. You may also have a permissions issue on the computer. Remember that the latest K-PACS version is quite a number of years old already. It was never designed to run on new systems like Windows 7, 8 or 10 with UACs and stuff. The user running K-PACS needs full access to the folders, also of the imagebox/database. You may have to set these permissions manually or install K-PACS in a "free" folder, like directly under C:\.
