Cannot View Images

We have a kpacs "server" running xp storing all the images. We run several W764 machines with KPACS V1.0.1 that pull up images from this "server". One workstation was working great and now it will no longer pull up images. Firewall down. Network discovery is on. Have tried unintall and reinstall. Need clarification on the database regeneration function. What does this do to the local workstation? If images hosted on another workstation should I choose direct rebuild or resend via StoreSCU? Any help appreciated, it seems the images are not making into the IMAGEBOX folder. I have checked all the data paths, they are correct. AV has been uninstalled.
