Corrupt PatientName in some files

  • Hi,

The logs look normal as far as I can see: the database is always updated to the newest items recieved. So for me this looks like a bit like a database corruption problem. Which database are you using? However, if you see items in the header corrupted this cannot be from the database. It is strange that only the patientID seems affected. The patient name is not processed different at all as all other DICOM tags. The processing is that DICOM tags are entered into the database but never the other way around.

  • Hi,

there is one bug that may cause data corruption in 1.4.14 on the buglist, although your behavior has never been reported (1.4.14 is generally found to be very stable). You may consider to upgrade to 1.4.15 to repair this. Just replace dgate.exe and conquestdicomserver.exe.

  • Hi,

if you kept the zipped log files you should be able to trace the change, for instance look at the file date of a corrupt file, and find the logs of around the same date. The change would be recorded in pacstrouble.
