has that issue been addressed in current release (iQ-View 2.6.0)?

Some third party components like the dicom header modificator can not cope with space padded directory name right now. We will fix this problem in the next update.

As you realized, this first post is quite a few years old. The path issues have been solved many iQ-VIEW versions ago. You shouldn't have any issues when using iQ-VIEW 2.6.0.
