Does k-pacs support palette color? I want to review the thyroid studies in color, a feature that efilm doesn t support.
Is this possible with k-pacs? If yes, is it installed or how to install it.

In general, color coded images are supported. I have tried 16bit colored ultrasound images and found no problems. I dont no for shure if szintigraphic images will work, please report!

As promised, I want to report my experience with nuclear images and k-pacs.
Well, works great. Bone scans and thyroid studies.
For the physicians, I save them up with acrobat and integrate them in the medical report.
I only can say that I would recommend k-pacs as well for the nuke guys, in a couple of weeks maybe I can report if its possible reviewing pet-images. -
I am a Nuclear Medicine (NM) person who has recently installed a server and is currently using GE Xeleris computers to move DICOM files between sites. I was interested in the utility of k-pacs for NM. I was particularly interested in whether you can use it to provide access to referers?
