Hi,
We've just installed K-PACS on a Win2k box and are trying to query-retrieve from a GE Centricity server on the local network.
We can see the studies on the server, but when trying to retrieve, there's a delay and a DICOM error message about the headers.
Has anyone had problems or otherwise with Centricity?
It doesn';t seem to be a modality problem, as CR (Agfa) and MR (Siemens) studies gave the same result.

You have to verify that K-PACS AET, IP address and Port number are correctly configured on the Centricity machine for the retrieve operation to work. Query will work without this parameters, Retrieve needs them to know where to send the images.

I am having same problem with a GE AW machine...it simply will not transfer from k-pacs to GE period.
I tested echo and works fine, we've tried with and without VPN and every time the transfer fails at 1%.

transfer has been successful to other servers but this one simply doesn't want to work.

thanks for your reply.
I tried to make the changes suggested in your thread and it still didn't work, the changes actually prevent me from retrieving studies from the conquest server.
this is what the situation is:
conquest and k-pacs work fine. if k-pacs wants to send the study to aw-rads (remote location) the transfer fails, first time ever, we've always been able to transfer with different providers.
k-pacs can retrieve studies from aw-rads (not needed but it's possible) so there is connectivity.
identical k-pacs installations are able to send to aw-rads from different locations
dicom transfer from k-pacs has been attempted to internet ip as well as lan ip (via vpn tunnel)...it fails at 1% in both cases
network testing and packet inspection has been performed, the echos report success but transfer fails.
efilm is able to send studies
any thoughts?
